July 14th 05:38 the Incident Commander was looking for 4×4’s and ground teams to assist a lost hiker on the Continental Divide Trail north of Ghost Ranch. We actually had exact coordinates of the subjects location as she was able to make calls and was able to relay her coordinates. One of New Mexico SAR’s newly minted Incident Commanders, who is also a Brigade member, plotted her coordinates and looking at a map thought there was a good chance he could drive to her. Turns out he was right and she was right where she said she was and he drove her out to civilization.
